Just getting snatched in that gate wasted precious minutes, then she heard a twig snap.
When she turned to look around there was no one there behind her.

The mare was moving so slow it wasn't hard for the dragon knights to keep up with her. Eventually came to the far end of the forest where a dilapidated abandoned hunter shack sat.
