~ ZARA ~
When David laid me on the bed there was a strange and exhilarating light in his eyes. I'd never seen him so intense, as if the rest of the world had disappeared and nothing remained but me.
It was breathtaking. His movements were slow but sure and there was joy burning in his gaze—the gaze that raked me from head to toe as if I was a meal and he was deciding what to eat first.
And then I stopped thinking about anything but the delicious sensations he wrung from my body.
I tried to urge him to cover me, to lay over me. I wanted to feel his weight pressing me into the bed.
But instead he knelt between my knees and began to stroke, watching himself touching me, watching me respond to his touch, rumbles and groans rising in his chest when he was successful in making me gasp or twitch.
And David, it turned out, was extremely good at making me gasp.
