In response to her master's summons, Karla entered the room with her head bowed. "Yes, master?" she inquired, deferential in her posture.
"I called you here for a reason," Oriana explained, opening the vial in front of Karla.
Recognizing the vial, Karla wondered what it was doing in Oriana's possession.
"Your master has given me this for my personal use, to punish those who might trouble me. However, I am uncertain if it works, so I need to test it," Oriana explained, conjuring another kettle of tea and a cup to replace the ones destroyed in her earlier fit of anger.
Putting a single drop in the empty cup, Oriana directed her words to Edna, "You mentioned that one drop is sufficient."
