Suddenly, Snowflake halted her rolling and dashed toward the manor's entrance, where a tall figure emerged.
"King Drayce?" Oriana whispered in surprise, glancing at Arlan for confirmation.
"Last night, the chaos you and his wife caused, he brought Seren here instead of taking her back to the guest mansion at the palace. Megaris' entourage departed the capital today, and he had no intention of journeying by road. Once Seren is well, he'll teleport back with her," Arlan explained.
"Why didn't you inform me Her Majesty was here? I would have paid her a visit," Oriana complained.
He arched a brow. "Would you have wished to disturb her while Drayce was attending to her personally? He prefers to care for her without interruption."
"Ah, I will keep in mind," she replied, watching as Snowflake happily bounded toward Drayce, who tenderly patted and stroked her head.
