Raya hops onto the bed and bounces a few times, seemingly testing the mattress.
"It's comfy," she grins and then leans back on her elbows, looking around at the room before those sultry blue eyes land on me again.
"I don't remember telling you that you could try persuading me," I chuckle. But that certainly doesn't mean I would object to her trying.
"You don't remember that?" Her tone is sarcastic, and it makes me laugh more.
Watching Raya go from sweet to sarcastic is too cute. She has fire, but it's baby fire—like a miniature dragon I could fit into the palm of my hand.
"No, I don't." I cross my arms and smirk, but she already has this argument won. It looks like she knows it, too.
