Elliana looked at Vincenzo, completely baffled.
Though a part of her couldn't believe he got a girl because she never pegged him to be that type, a part of her was happy and felt joy for some reason.
This was the first time someone hit Madeline on her behalf, and it was oddly satisfying.
"You lay a hand on her next time, and this face won't be on your body anymore to even earn a slap," Vincenzo said casually, smiling at Elliana as if he wasn't threatening to behead Madeline a few seconds ago.
"Is it bad?" He walked to her and cupped her cheeks, looking at her pale face as he massaged her cheeks with his thumb.
"You are such a trouble magnet. Recently, you got hurt in the laboratory too, didn't you?" Vincenzo asked, completely ignoring the two people in the room.
"He was the other friend who got hurt with me. What happened was -" Elliana explained everything to him.
