"Mmhhmm, Mr. Marino," Elliana whispered when she felt someone caressing her hair.
A smile appeared on her lips subconsciously before she opened her eyes.
She blinked her eyes softly to get used to the light before looking to her left where the person touching her hair was.
This wasn't her Mr. Marino. Her heart thumped and disappointment took over.
"Who are you?" She asked, feeling conscious when she noticed the unfamiliar surroundings.
"I am a doctor," The man in front of her said.
Elliana furrowed her brows before she remembered what happened. She looked around, more cautious.
Fear immediately clouded her eyes when she remembered Lord Ahriman putting that hot blade on her neck and asking her who she was. It looked like he was suspecting her of something or probably someone.
She immediately backed away from the doctor's hand, sitting abruptly while holding the blanket close to her chest.
