"I will," Sebastian said and was about to sit on his knees in front of the witches when one of the witches stood from her place and used her magic to make a cushioned pillow appear right below Sebastian's knees, stopping him from bowing to them.
"Just because you are a man in need, it doesn't mean we will stoop so low to make you beg for something that is our duty too. Though you killed 10 of our witches, we never came for you because we also knew what they did," The witch said.
The clan leader looked at her subordinate witch and nodded.
"We just wanted to test your love for your wife and wanted to know if what you are showing is what you feel too. However, if the almighty vampire king can bow down for his wife, he must love her a lot," The clan leader said, and Sebastian joined his hands to show his gratitude.
Elliana turned around and walked to some distance, her fingers trembling as she barely controlled her sadness.
