"W-what?" Samantha's pupils dilated, and her eyes widened. "....you just said?" She subconsciously shifted back on the bed, as if to escape from the impromptu question he had asked - to avoid him most notably, but to her surprise, he grabbed both of her hands that she had used to support herself in leaning back, and she inadvertently met his crimson eyes that demanded her attention.
"Running away? Well I can't let that happen." He admitted softly, sounding partially frustrated. "This is all new to me, I need to understand what is going on, in my head, in my heart, and unfortunately for you, you're going to have to help me get to the bottom of it. Listen, I am silently going out of my mind here, and your silence..? It's making it harder for me to comprehend."
