Au'dtair wrinkled his nose as the stench of another female drifted through the open hatch. He hadn't expected something like that to set him off as much as it had, but maybe that was because he hadn't really interacted with any females after he had met his mate.
"Huh," grunted Da'kea as he stepped over the threshold. "I don't remember a time when I was this uncomfortable due to a scent. I can only imagine it is that much worse for you since this is your personal quarters."
Raguk nodded his head, not wanting to speak.
"My Lord, is that you?" came a sweet voice from inside of the room. The four males outside could hear the soft shuffle of feet as she walked from wherever she had been to the front. "I didn't think that you would be back that fast. You must have missed me."
Raguk swallowed the vomit that was trying to escape his mouth. "Hardly," he sneered when he felt more in control of his body. "I came for something."
