A short while later, Rhyland headed back to his suite, ready for his second confrontation of the day. He was in a foul mood.
His comrades, Natasha and Dimitri, anxiously sat in the living room awaiting his arrival.
Then, the door opened with a loud bang and Rhyland entered the suite.
Not even acknowledging Dimitri's existence, Rhyland purposefully strode up to the other woman.
"Natasha, you better tell me what happened back there."
"Word for fucking word." Rhyland said menacingly after his encounter with Aubrey.
"Rhyland! Watch your tone. That is my fiance you're talking to!"
"She's our teammate first and foremost!" Rhyland growled and his eyes glowed a bright gold.
Feeling the pressure akin to that of a true alpha, Dimitri reluctantly stood down.
