The guards of the south gate suddenly show a group of more than 50 adventurers coming toward the gate. Even tho there were only about 50 individuals in the group, their ferocity was way higher than even 100,000 soldiers ready for war.
The guards were tensed and couldn't move due to fear but they were able to see the form of Alessia in front of the group who was very well known as an A rank adventurer and seeing her the guards heaved a sigh of relief.
As the adventurers came near the gate they could see a lot of guards standing infront. One of them came forward and asked Alessia with reverence -
"Sword Saint sama, we all welcome your victorious return. We all guards are grateful. Thank you very much for your hard work as the leader of the expedition team."
The guards knew that the A and B rank adventurer teams of Rin had gone on a dungeon expedition. But he didn't know the extra details like the leader's identity so he naturally thought Alessia as the strongest adventurer of the city was the leader.
He suddenly felt a few murderous intent washing over him. That came from Alessia, Rishia and other girls. But Elena pacified them by a wave of her hand and gently smiled at the petrified guard -
"Hello, I'm the leader of this expedition team, Elena. We have accomplished our objective for this mission, which was the dungeon capture. We will appreciate it if you allow just the leader of all the teams to finish their identification with haste, as we need to quickly inform the guild and the temples about it."
The frozen guard broke out of his state and hastily replied -
"Yes, we will see to it. "
He was flustered by Elena's beauty and the murderous aura, so his brain wasn't working properly. But the other guards pull through with their professional spirit and hastily allowed the entry of Elana, Vista and the other 9 team leaders.
After entering the city they requested the adventurer guild master and temple's head priest to join them in a meeting. The meeting was prepared as fast as possible as this was a very important topic. There Elena narrated the dungeon conquest details with some little white lies.
She had to somewhat lie about her strength and how much hardship she faced to conquer the last two floors. If she was completely honest then it would have been way too unbelievable for anyone and she would have a lot of trouble to make others believe in her.
She also kinda lied about Vista's power as she just mentioned her to be stronger than regular S rank which others could even judge as that she is not even as strong as a demigod. Where in reality she was actually as strong as lesser gods.
About Elena's own power she just mentioned that is above S, which the priest and even that guild master thought to be just demigod level and even that was eye-popping for them.
Soon the priest recieved a confirmation from the Oracle that the Goddess have recognised Elena's statement to be true and she will get a [Divine Aquisition Token] from temple for this achievement and other adventurers would also get adequate rewards. This came as a shock to the head priest.
Divine Aquisition Token is immensely valuable and it the highest honour one could recieve from the temples. It allows someone to have same level of authority in the temple as the Head pope, who is the leader of all the temples as a whole. So right now she had way more authority on the temples than even the head priest himself. If Elena and the head priest give orders that are opposite to one another than Elena's order will be followed.
Next, the guild master checked and verify the advancement of Marina to A rank adventurer and he was astonished to see the improvement of others in just this short amount of time. He was even more astonished and almost fell over after knowing that Alessia was almost on the verge of S rank. Currently she was at level 298, just a step away from attaining S rank.
The overall quality of the A and B rank adventurers in the guild had improved. Marina was the only B rank adventurer to reach A rank in the expedition but almost 13 more B rank adventurers were very close to reaching that.
All the C rank members of the expedition team had reached B rank and all the adventurers who were low grade B rank at the start of the expedition had atleast reached the level of high grade B rank.
Rishia, a magic casting low grade A rank had reached the level of high, almost peak grade A rank at level 279. Drago had also improved even tho not as much as Rishia. He was at level 273.
So, all in all the overall quality of the highest ranking adventurers registered with the guild has improved, making Rin's guild even stronger. But there was another think that boosted the city, not only adventurer but also merchant guild.
It was the high-level monster meterials. Almost no other place have this much supply of the high level monster material so it was a very rare and luxurious comodity. If used properly, the city of Rin could get huge profit off them. Those materials were so rare that even the merchant and adventurer guild combined was not able to pay the adventurers right away.
Elena only gave 2 low level S rank monsters and all the A rank monsters she killed, and all other materials were the monsters the adventurers themselves killed. That includes over 30+ A and 200+ B rank monsters alongside 3 S rank ones. That blowed the mind of all the guild staffs.
The guilds promised to pay the adventurer enough as soon as possible and also promised to give them extra rewards too for a mission well done. When Elena entered the city it was about 11 AM and now as she was going back to the inn, it was 7 PM.
After returning to the inn Elena first changed her room to a two person room as Vista would be living with her from now on. Then both of them had a refreshing bath and a hearty dinner to soothe themselves. After relaxing a bit Elena took Vista in her embrace and teleported to the divine realm to meet her friends, the three Supreme Goddesses and to introduce Vista to them.
