Liz peered through the translucent glass door of the emergency room, her eyes fixed on Lucian lying motionless with his eyes closed.

"Is this for real? Look at the state they're in," Liz whispered to Lucian, her eyes wide with shock.

Among the victims, most of them were unconscious, their bodies covered in blood and wounds. Among the chaos, a few remained conscious but were groaning in pain.
"I can't believe this is happening," Liz muttered under her breath as she witnessed the chaotic scene.
Families of the victims arrived, adding to the chaotic atmosphere as they struggled to contain their emotions.
The lobby reverberated with cries, moans, and shouts. Some family members even attempted to force their way into the Emergency Department.
