Chapter 3 - ROmance MYstery INTRODUCTION 3

It was always so annoying to go to the cinema and not be able to complain about the people causing so much disturbance around you.

The interiors of the house was something else, it was the absolute best and the color white and brown added so much glamour to the house.

"No wonder so many people want to live here." She thought to herself and sighed heavily. She then laid back on the soft and comfy couch.

From the corner of her eyes, she noticed some bookshelves in the room whose door was slightly open opposite her. She was trying hard not to overstep her boundaries but that room kept calling to her in a deep voice, like when those evil spirits call someone in a movie.

Mylar! Mylar! Mylar!!!

One thing about Mylar was her deep passion for reading, she could spend the entire day reading without getting bored. That was why she was called a 'bookworm' back in college. She always got A's in all her tests and exams, she also graduated as the top student in the business administration department.

She quietly got up, tiptoeing towards the room careful not to make any sound. She slowly opened it door and went into the room.

OMG!! She gasped at what she saw in the room. It wasn't just a few shelves but a whole palace filled with books. It was an amazing view, books lined up above her head and all around her. There was also a very old telescope and treasure maps with gold sculptures in the room. The telescope was shiny but looked ancient, she could tell from its design.

She couldn't stop herself, she started running around checking different books all at once. Maybe she thought that she could read all of them in just a day.

Khai came back with one glass each in both hands, he was surprised to find an empty sitting room.

"Did she maybe leave?" He asked himself quietly, he was disturbed by the thought of her leaving without telling him.

Mylar!

Mylar!

Mylar! Mylar!!!

He called out loud over and over again but little did he know that Mylar was lost in her world, a world full of books and endless reading.

After a while of not getting any response, he decided to place the cups on the center table and as he bent to do so, his deep blue eyes noticed the door of the library open.

He quietly walked in on Mylar who was sitting down on a chair confused as to which book to read first, she scratched her forehead in distress.

Khai smiled at this and walked closer to her, he lowered his lips onto her bare neck. She got startled and jumped up.

"Didn't mean to scare you babe but your glass of mulled wine has been waiting for quite some time," Khai said to her with an apologetic smile.

"Oh, I am so sorry that I came here without asking, I was drawn to the library because of my love for books," Mylar said explaining to him.
