Wasn't that just an ugly ger in Donghua? It seemed like the top and only preferences for gers were cute, or pretty, and effeminate. Neither of those two types of beauty was bad in Xu Feng's opinion, it just wasn't his cup of tea.
He preferred a masculine man, exhibit A—Xuan Jian—or a more refined but still handsome man, maybe even a bit on the androgynous side, exhibit B—Xuan Yang. Both would likely be considered ugly gers if they had a red mole.
