By the front gate, two shadows entwined.
"It's all your fault for waking me up so early." Jian Qing's head buried into the man's chest, her soft voice carrying a touch of complaint.
She barely slept in the middle of the night, and he woke her up from under the warm quilt this early. She was freezing.
Jingwu chuckled and wrapped his strong arm around her, "How about going to the office with me?"
"No thanks." She rejected him bluntly.
"Do you despise me?"
He cupped her face with his hand, the delineated hand making her face seem even smaller.
Jian Qing rubbed her face against the palm of his hand then said, "Xiya said she's coming over today."
Hearing this, Jingwu raised an eyebrow, "A light bulb?"
Her soon-to-be father-in-law was thankfully busy preparing gifts, and now there's another third wheel.
Feeling awkward, Jian Qing rolled her eyes at him, "Stop calling her a light bulb. Can't you be more friendly to our guest?"
"I'll try." He replied.
