Chapter 6 - Chapter - 06

Alexander Pov

It's been a week since I met her. Aaron gave me information about her the very next day. I got the details of the things that even she doesn't know. And also found out about her traumatic past. Which made my blood boil with anger as I was learning about it.

I have planted my trusted men around her. I know her every move, who she is meeting, what she is doing. Everything, every single thing. I want her. But to have her, I have to make a perfect plan. A plan that will lead her to me.

I will make her fall for me slowly. And once she becomes mine, she will never be able to escape from me. Her soul, her body, her heart, everything will be mine. Mine to love, mine to care, all mine. She released the devil inside of me. So, she has to take responsibility for it.

I'm looking at the picture of her that my men have captured. The picture is of her reading a book in the library. She loves books. And I will make a library for her. I'm sure that she will love it.

I'm planning our next meeting. I will make it look like a coincidence. Owen told me to approach her slowly so as not to scare her. And I took his advice.

Maybe I shouldn't have. Because with each day passing by without her, I'm growing impatient. The need to have her in my arms is making me go crazy. She made me crazy.

"Stop staring at her pictures like a creep," Aaron said, and I glared at him. I totally forgot that he was here.

"Once there was a man who said that 'She is not my type,' " he said mimicking me.

"But now that person is obsessed with her. Tsk tsk."

"What do you want?" I asked, annoyed.

"What do I want? I want you to complete the pile of work on your desk. I understand that you're newly in love, but that doesn't mean you can neglect other things," he said, pissed.

"What am I supposed to do when she is the only thing in my head?"

"That's why you should have taken my advice," he said while sighing.

"Your advice was to kidnap her," I deadpan.

"Yes, but if you had listened to me, you wouldn't have been like this now." True, but still no.

"Fine, do whatever you want. But make your move first because, as you know, some flies are flying around your flower. Also, please, finish your work," he said and left.

I'm indeed neglecting my work. But how can I concentrate when my mind is filled with her? I never wanted anyone. People want me. I have women approaching me because of my money and appearance. And their gazes were always filled with lust and greed. They look at me seductively, and that disgusts me.

But her forest green eyes were staring at my blue eyes with nothing but innocence. And the way her luscious pink lips touched mine was like paradise. Her lips were soft and warm, and she tasted like chocolate. She enchanted me.

She made me feel something that I had never felt. I never felt the desire to make someone mine for eternity. She made me want her. She is the first person in the world to make me feel this, and will be the last person too. No one can have her but me. She can only be mine. As for the flies, Aaron said, they can only dream of her. No, I don't want them to even dream about her.

The thought of anyone having the same desire for her as me enraged me. I can't waste more time. Should I just kidnap her like Aaron said? No, bad idea. I want her, but I want her willingly. I don't want to hurt her. That's why I will give her time. Time to become mine willingly. But if, in that given time, she doesn't come to me, I would have no choice but to use force.

But at all costs, she has to be mine, be it willingly or forcefully. My thoughts were interrupted by a knock on my door. I permitted the person to come in, and Aaron entered with a grin. And I didn't like his stupid smile at all.

"Guess what?" he said.

I didn't bother to say anything and only looked at him blankly. When he has to come to my cabin for work, he will enter with a professional and serious look, but when he enters with a shit grin on his face, that means he has come to me for no good. Blame me for having my best friend as my assistant.

"Come on, give me some reaction," he said, pouting.

"You look ugly," I said emotionlessly.

My mind instantly went to my butterfly. She would look so adorable while pouting her plump lips.

"What are you saying? I look cuteee," he said, and I looked at him with disgust.

"Tsk, you're no fun. I came to give you a piece of good news," he sulked.

"What is it?"

"As you know, we are recruiting interns from colleges, right? And in the list, there is a certain college also there. Tomorrow, some of our employees will go there to take interviews. And do you want to know who studies at that college?" he said while wiggling his eyebrows.

By his tone and reaction, I figured out right away who he was talking about. The girl I'm desperate to see, my butterfly, studies at that certain college.

"You guessed it right. It's your woman. My future sister-in-law," he said excitedly.

Why is he so weird? I haven't even said anything. And after I told him, I wanted Alisha. He was on cloud nine.

"Normally, you never take interviews. But I think you should take the interview this time, or at least be present there. In my point of view, this is the best time and a perfect opportunity for you to approach her. What do you say?"

He gave me a look that said he already knew my answer. He knows me very well, and that sometimes annoys me.

"I will go," I said.

"I know that you would say that. That's why I have already adjusted your schedule. I'm such a good friend, aren't I? Every human being deserves a friend like me in their life, right?" His eyes are telling me to praise him. But, well, dream on.

"If you're done, then get out," I said.

"What?" he asked, shocked.

"I got it. Now leave; I have to work." He put his hand on his chest and put on a sad expression.

"My heart hurts. You're so heartless. Kicking me out right after using me," he said, and wiped his nonexistent tears.

"Woah, why don't you quit this job and debut as an actor?" I said, amused, and clapped my hand.

He placed his hand under his jaw and ran a thoughtful hand across it.

"I know, right? I'm so talented, should I?"

Why am I wasting my time on him? I looked at him with a done face. He saw my reaction and stopped his drama.

"Okay, fine, I'm leaving," he said, and started walking out while sulking. He opened the door, and I said,

"Aaron, thank you, and tell them not to tell others that I will be there." He flashed me his stupid smile.

"Got it, boss," he said and left the cabin.

Aaron is handsome. He has brown hazel eyes, blond hair, and pale skin and is a six-foot-tall man with a well-built body. He is four inches shorter than me. He looks like a fairy tale innocent prince. But only the stupid will fall for it. He has been my friend since childhood. We know each other's every secret, even the darkest one. And he is the only person who I trust blindly.

Because, he has always put me before him. He has put his life at risk because of me many times. Yeah, he is weird and a drama queen, but his work is flawless. And, as he said, he is an amazing friend. And a good entertainer too. That's why I have always let him do whatever he wants. Only he can talk to me like that. Because, I gave him the right.

But sometimes, he is a real pain in the ass. This is the first time he has had to tell me to complete my work. But before that, he always had to tell me to take a break from work.

My gaze again fell onto the pictures of my butterfly on my desk. I took a picture of her from the desk. In the picture, she is drinking hot chocolate and having a chat with her friend in a cafe. In another picture, she is smiling and showing her pretty dimples. I want to poke those dimples.

Tomorrow, we will meet again, butterfly. It's just a matter of time; you will be in my arms soon. But before that, I should finish the work first, or Aaron will come to nag me again.

I wasn't able to sleep last night at all. All I was thinking about was how I was going to approach her. Seeing her and approaching her are two different things. I wonder if she thinks about me too, like I do. It's finally the day to meet her.

What will my butterfly reaction be when she sees me? She flew away from me last time like a butterfly she is, but soon enough, I will cage her in my arms for forever and protect her and will never let her out of my sight. NEVER...

And then nothing will be able to tear us apart, not even DEATH.
