***

He, Ken, a twelve years old boy gazed at his parents and an annoyingly pampered younger sister, who was merely 3 years younger than him pacing around a small but comfortable house. Well, he was the one that pampered his little sister the most. He belonged to a family of four; a good-looking father, a beautiful mother, himself, and a his cute and loveable little sister. The family lived a moderate but happy life till date.

But,

Today was the day that scarred and ruined his life to the point of no return.

His father had met with an accident and had died on the spot; everybody said it was a drunk and drive case, the drunkard being his father who never even took a sip of alcohol. And for whatever reason after his mother went and met with the officials, she came back horrified and didn't even try to find out the truth behind that accusation and only mourned till the end of the day.

That very sleepless night, their lightless home got attacked by assailants unknown to him, but seemingly known to his mother. From the words he could make out with his blooded vision and barely holding consciousness while he laid at the hall's corner; the man's name was something big and he was head of a bigger family which he announced proudly even though things like big families didn't matter in the 22nd century, from what he knew.

The man said something about his mother rejecting him back in the college since she was already dating his father; that rejection has been a dent to his ego and whatever was happening today was the consequences of her rejection.

Then after his speech was over, the assailants who killed his father and attacked his home backed off, leaving behind only the head of the family, his 12 year old son, who was looking at things with a disgusting grin on his face; while his, his mother's, and his little sister's bruised and blooded bodies laid at different corners of the hall.

Unzipping sounds could be heard before screams of horror and sobs of unwillingness resounded throughout the house, when everything seemed to over, his mother's horror dyed voice of begging to continue with her and leave her daughter alone resounded, but everything was for naught when a horrified voice of his little sister dyed his ears, and after a few minutes nothing except for wet flesh colliding against each other resounded in his consciousness before resoundingly silent gunshots sounded and everything turned silent forever.

When everything was over, only he, who was unnoticed by the assailants and beasts of mankind, was left behind to breathe his last breaths.
