"What are you two saying? You want to go back to the city?! Especially you, Kera," she asked loudly, her voice rising to its highest pitch."
Shikera and Mignon were shocked at Grandma cooper's outburst, which was just because they wanted to visit the city.
"Grandma," Mignon walked towards her, thinking that the older woman was nervous on sending the both of them to the city at the same time. "We have to do this for Kera, right? And it's just for a day so you won't miss us."
Grandma Cooper hissed, "So? You think this is about missing you?"
Confused, Shikera shared curious glances with Mignon who also looked like she didn't know what was going on.
"So what's this about if it's not that?" Mignon asked.
Grandma Cooper ignored the question and turned to face Alan, a forced smile on her face.
"Will you come back later, Alan? I have to talk to this girls."
