"...." he stood there stunned at the comparison but with her serious look it was clear that she did not feel any difference in it.
"Ha! Hahahaha!" he shook his head. The more he thought about it, the more he felt ludicrous. Her words made it like he was a child raging over nothing.
"You mean that your past child and the pregnancy after marrying me made no difference?" he hissed and this time he did not regret it when he looked at her coldly.
She brought this wrath upon herself.
"Leave, Evangeline. Or the pretty argument you wanted to show to the world would be real this time." The warning scared her. Her feet obeyed him at once and took a step back but when she looked at his burning face because of her, she stopped.
"You would never hurt me." he laughed at those words.
