Seth spent an hour with Elena before Muyue came to find them. She seemed to understand that something changed, yet she didn't comment. Instead, curled her lips into a smirk.
"Seth, everyone is loaded onto the bus, and we have cleared the way to the town, but we aren't sure about your current plans."
"For once, you're taking things seriously, huh?"
"Shut up, Elena."
He felt telling people now would just result in unwanted trouble or conflict in an area where they couldn't control the situation.
Part of him considered heading back early because a few people suffered injuries during the hotel event.
'Could I send back part of the group, then have Elena and Muyue drive back with a fresh batch of more people so we can set up a forward base here?'
However, he also knew another city wasn't that far away from the group's current location.
