Chapter 4 - Getting Familiar with the Doll

Evan leaned over… Their lips touched, and his body felt limp as if she had taken the energy out of him.

His knees buckled, and he fell to the floor, the object following him in his fall.

He continued kissing her like a ravenous animal devouring its prey, even if they were on the ground. His hand grabbed the back of her head; its ball-joint jaws opened, allowing them to do a deeper kiss.

He didn't understand why he was acting this way.

Maybe because this was the first time lust ever hit his system, he was acting like a dog in heat, and he couldn't stop.

The feeling of her sweet lips and her soft tongue dancing with him in this forbidden waltz.

Everything! He can't get enough of her!

Goodness, thank the heavens she wasn't a real woman, or he would be in court tomorrow for sexual harassment!

He felt hands on his chest, pushing him away, and fingernails scratching his skin raw.

He moaned in pleasure.

Has delusion taken control of him and made reality seem so far away? The pain only fueled his pleasure even more.

But when he felt something wet trickling from his face, he paused momentarily.

Was he crying? He slowly opened his eyes, only to see filmed green eyes begging for mercy.

Now that he stopped, the hands that were on his chest managed to push him off.

Evan fell on his back, a few steps away from her.

The doll crawled as far as possible from him, crying.

"P-p-p-please stop…" she whispered in a soft, raspy voice. "You're hurting me…"

Blue eyes widened in horror.

He scrambled away at such a quick pace that his back accidentally hit the dining table. From above the slab, the letter that Freiheit left fell on his lap.

"⁻⁻ᴅᴀʏ.

Yᴏᴜʀ ʙʀᴏᴛʜᴇʀ,

Well, Freiheit, if you're asking for the results, Evan was pretty sure they meant it literally.

A few moments later, the room was quiet.

Only the sound of fabric rustling and the heavy sighs of the doll can be heard.

Evan sat in the far corner of the room, right next to the unhealthy potted plant he bought at a thrift shop, while glaring at the innocent figure casually lounging on his sofa as if she had never seen nor sat on one.

Evan observed the mannequin as if she were a fantastic thing that defied logic, and in reality, she was.

The doll's movement was passive, like a cat that had just woken up in its sleep.

Her white dress hiked up lavishly, leaving nothing out of his imagination as her white underwear was visible. It was as if he watched an erotic, slow-motion commercial advertising a sofa.

If it were one, he would've bought all the company stocks within seconds. Evan couldn't believe what had just happened.

First, he was tricked into thinking she was a human with circulating blood. But he immediately noticed something was wrong and realized he was just a mere imposter of a woman and a life-sized doll.

But what was utterly unforgivable was the second time, yes, a second time, for he was sure that she was just a doll and he completely devoured her like a lustful man, and now she's...

"U-u-um," She spoke in a quiet voice that he wouldn't have heard if the room wasn't so dreadfully silent. "Sir, I apologize for p-p-pushing you. Please do not l-l-look at me as if you wish to d-d-dispose of me."

Evan blinked repeatedly, surprised that she noticed him.

"N-no," He tried to hide his embarrassment, scratching the back of his head. "It's fine. I should be the one apologizing for doing that to you…"

The doll's green eyes widened, and her pale cheeks became red like her hair. She gripped the hem of her dress, looking away.

Evan realized how plain awkward that sounded. He couldn't help but blush at how pathetic he was for his poor choice of words.

How amazing is that? Evan Holz, blushing like a high school boy?

"E-even if I am a-a-aware that I was c-c-created for such p-purpose," She said, but probably more to herself rather than to him. "I f-find it very weird…"

Evan smiled, thinking she was adorable, when he found something weird in her sentence.

After the realization, he deadpanned.

"What did you just say?"

She finally looked up, surprised at his blunt tone.

"Oh… I said that—" She tried to repeat it, but he immediately interrupted her.

"So technically speaking," he said, tapping his chin, getting even more frustrated by the moment. "You're just a sex doll?"

The doll abruptly sat up from the sofa, and her face was now a full-grown tomato.

"P-p-please don't refer to me as s-s-such!" Her green eyes fell to the ground, crest-fallen. "But h-h-honestly speaking…" She slowly sat down, sighing. "Yes… Yes, I am."

Evan silently cursed, and you probably know that he mentioned his brother's name.

"I see." He muttered.

And the room became silent for a while.

For him, he didn't find silence as irking.

He found it comfortable because it meant he wouldn't force himself to make a stupid conversation. But for most people, this usually makes them squirm on their seats and bite their lips with an expression on their faces saying, 'Please let me leave.'

But much to his surprise, the doll was looking at him patiently.

Then, he found the silence uncomfortable.

"So," He attempted to resume their conversation. "Where did you come from?"

The doll tilted her head to the side, looking confused.

"I don't understand your question, sir." She said. "Are you asking what store I was from or what company I was manufactured in?"

He wanted to face-palm.

Of course, what kind of answer could he expect from a doll?

"No, that's not what I meant." Evan chuckled. "I mean, what country were you… um, manufactured in? Because as far as I am concerned, I have never heard of a place specializing in making dolls."

That becomes alive, he wanted to add.

"Oh?" Her thin eyebrows furrowed, and she had difficulty understanding where this talk was going. "How could you buy me if you've never been to my country?"

"I didn't buy you," I also didn't want you at first, he wanted to add. "But my brother decided to buy you as a souvenir for me."

Even though she still looked puzzled, she nodded.

"I see." She said. "I'm from Manika, the only country specializing in Eternity Women."

And with that, their discussion ended as quickly as it had started.

The doll remained on the sofa, adjusting her pose every now and so often. Evan changed his position, for his buttocks started hurting after sitting on the floor for too long. She seemed to have noticed his discomfort, for she spoke.

"Sir, would you not want to sit beside me? Staying on the floor was not a very good experience for me; I doubt it would be the opposite for you."

She was referring to what I did to her an hour ago. "Thank you." He said through gritted teeth. He stood up and sat right next to her, keeping a safe 12-inch distance away from her.

The doll blinked.

"Why is there such a huge gap between us?"

He looked at her as if she was stupid. "I know you probably offered the seat out of pure etiquette, and you don't want me near you."

She raised an eyebrow. "Etiquette? What is that?"

And before he could reply, she pushed him onto the sofa, forcing him to lie down. Evan could only gasp and get hypnotized by her beautiful eyes as she stayed on top of him.

"I am allowing you to continue what you started a while ago. Why are you not doing as you are expected to do?"
