Elias's gaze was icy as he stared at a spot not far away.
Perched high on a piece of machinery, Nyarlathotep wore a wicked grin, eyeing Elias intently.
"Long time no see, human! Miss me?"
Elias watched her, his face expressionless.
"So it's you..."
"Of course, it's me!" Nyarl laughed merrily, swinging her feet joyfully, "Otherwise, how could a mere mortal ever hope to touch the Door of Truth? In your dreams!"
"Elias!?" Tilly looked at Elias in surprise, following his gaze upwards.
"What are you doing? Who are you talking to??"
Elias tightened his grip on her hand, signaling her to keep calm.
The dark-skinned little girl looked down at the bewildered Tilly and chuckled.
"Idiots, all of them. A foolish master teaches nothing but folly!"
Elias frowned deeply.
Nyarl seemed interested only in Elias. She shifted her gaze, her voice dripping with seduction, "Don't you want to know why I'm doing this?"
