Chief Leonardo's urgent summoning of Elias and his companions into the car, followed by a swift drive towards the east of the city, was not unexpected.
Elias had initially thought the case would be within The City of Saint Rose, but to his surprise, Leonardo took them to a small city on the eastern side, Kent City.
"This matter concerns the safety of the capital and even His Majesty himself. This series of cases is being handled specifically by our headquarters, and local police stations are also required to cooperate," Chief Leonardo explained.
Elias nodded, his gaze drifting out the car window. The buildings here were much lower, but the streets were bustling, as this was a satellite city within the capital's circle, serving primarily as a resource provider.
