Chapter 37 - Ana's Weakness

Ana returned to the place on the campus he last remembered walking on, but just like before, no one except him and Toti were around.

"..." Looking up at the sky, Ana found that the clouds were still in the same place where he had last seen them, and even the sun hadn't moved enough to call it a good afternoon.

Next, gazing down on his bloody hands, hands that once Ana only reserved for his endearing and beloved mother, and after some time, for other women, Ana reminisced about Anastasia.

Just like before, even this time Anastasia didn't hold Ana's hands, a thing which she only did occasionally in the past, an innocent act of love which Ana cherished more than guileful breakup sex, but gaslighting was the norm with Ana's ex and Anastasia never let Ana have his share of fun, for it always had to be exactly the same way Anastasia wanted to cuddle or it'd be a night of broken utensils, not a night of twin peace.
