Gazing out blankly, Leslie's movement was a bit stiff as she slowly took the file from Calix. Tremors spread from her heart, flaring out to her entire body. Her quivering eyes fell on the black cover of the file.
"...thank you. I will... I will look through this."
This was it... what she was dearly waiting for.
Ignoring Leslie's shaky voice was hard, caused by her fear of disappointment. Even though she was waiting for the new compilation of information, she couldn't deny that she was afraid.
What if... her Calliope's information was not in there?

Leslie tightened her grip on the file. She didn't notice how intently Calix was looking at her. His towering figure cast shadows on her sitting posture on the bed.
