Aunt Wendy was inside the kitchen when Calix and Leslie appeared. The middle-aged woman smilingly greeted the husband and wife. She had just finished washing the pots and pans.
"Oh~ Mrs. Charlene, your hairstyle suits you. Did Mr. Calix do it for you?
Aunt Wendy chuckled. She couldn't help praising how Leslie looked right now. The latter usually had her hair down or into a simple bun.
Leslie grinned while nodding once, her eyes sparkling with delight. Behind her, Calix kept smirking.
"Yes, he did... Aunt Wendy... thank you..."
