EVA'S P.O.V
I woke up as planned between Alex and I. As usual, the Omegas of the pack took a cold baths and prepared warm freshening baths for the pack masters.
How I hate this hell slavery of a life. I can't wait to be the Luna so that I just relax from all the torture. I had to prepare Alex's bath before we could explore the forest for secret training before anyone woke up.
We had been doing this secretly and trust me, Alex was so good a trainer that I sure enough could kick some Warrior batt in a duel.
I can't wait to challenge Tricia in a free and fair battle. "Did you carry an extra set of clothes for me?" Alex asked and I nodded, that's one thing I could not forget.
The disadvantage with us werewolves is that after shifting into our wolf form, we would turn back into two-legged human beings which is so shameful. I can not risk shape-shifting in public.
The forest was dark and calm but the cold breeze was too much.
"Wtf."
"Fuck You, Alex." I snapped when he hit me without warning.
"Your senses should be alert always. You may never know when your enemy intends to or how he or she does it." He said his eyes turning red. I knew he would shift anytime.
"Well in this case am not near an enemy." I smiled but what he did next made me freeze.
"This time round I am an enemy, expected Luna." He paused. "Going easy on you won't do you any good, not everyone will go easy on you sweetheart." He howled and I froze.
I was scared for my safety now. "You can handle this Eva." He warned and I took in a quick deep breath ready for either attack or defense.
Tf, his power and ability were beyond measure but lucky me, I had the highest sense of smell and speed in the entire pack despite being an Omega.
I wonder what happened to me to become an Omega. Measuring my abilities from other Omegas born on the night of the new moon, I was in no way resemblance to them.
They were weak, slow, and fragile but I was ten times faster than every other wolf. I was smart, a normal wolf with excellent ability yet an Omega.
I wanted to show them never to look down upon anyone and that meant training hard. Alex kicked and I fell with my butt quickly standing up. This time he didn't care that he would hurt me, all he wanted was to attack like I was an enemy.
"Slow down Alex, you're fighting an Omega, not some goddamn fellow Alpha!" I snapped and that seemed to have awakened his innermost hidden beast.
"Don't ever admit to that fact when you're around me." He shifted to his wolf form scratching and slightly biting. My eyes became bloody red in an instant.
"Come out now!" I shouted to my goddamn useless wolf but nothing happened. How can I fight with a wolf in my human form? I had to give up and surrender for blood had covered my entire being.
He jumped, his claws ready to tear and his teeth aiming for my neck and I did nothing but close my eyes waiting for death to take control.
One two and finally three seconds. Nothing happened and I opened my eyes seeing no one close by.
"Alex, Alex, Alex where the heck did you go?" I called walking from tree to tree.
"Eva, over here. Hand me my clothes." I could see only his face from the back of a tree.
"Here you go," I said my eyes tightly closed and I could hear his soft chuckle.
"You can open them now." I heard his words as he slowly wiped off the blood from my mouth taking my lips in his. As usual, I broke from the kiss.
"Any mistake and our absence will be noticed, Alex," I said leading the way back home.
"Eva, stop right there." I heard his angry voice and I froze my feet not daring to make another step.
"I scratched you thrice and made a bite attempt which I didn't. Who is behind the fourth scratch on your back? The deepest scratch one could ever imagine.
How was I to tell him that Tricia and I fight often and not only did I have one mark of hers, several other marks from the Luna, and she was secretly enclosed and hidden off from the cruel world?
"It's nothing serious and no one's behind this, probably my reckless actions," I said but he smirked.
"You think I wouldn't know How Tricia acts when in rage, I know all her moves." He said and I frowned. So he knows everything about Tricia yet claiming to love me?
"Let's go back to the Pack before anyone finds out." I snapped angrily putting on my heavy sweater and walking away.
