Arriving back at the apartment, Lenny tearfully sat on his bed, the events of the previous 15 minutes still replaying in his head.
He shamefully washed off the clown makeup and took a quick shower before leaving the apartment once again for his night shift.
Clarice had provided him with lunch so there was no need to prepare anything.

"You can close early if you want." That was what Mr. Singh said before sighing and leaving the shop to Lenny.
Sighing and taking his seat behind the counter, Lenny slumped on its flat surface.
