The group sprinted towards the exit, their hearts pounding with the desperate hope of escape. But the Queen was one step ahead and had anticipated their every move.
As they hurried towards the exit, they were met with a horrifying sight. The corridor was covered in sticky webs. Clearly, it was a trap set by the Queen to trap them. One misstep, and they would be trapped, defenceless against the Queen and her spiderlings.
"Sophia, try to burn the webs or something," Adrian instructed, snatching Marcus's shield from him since he was injured. "The rest of us will try to keep the monsters busy."
"On it!" Sophia replied and got to burn the webs, but it turned out to be harder than expected.
The webs were made of a strange material. They were as strong as steel, and magic had little effect on them. At this rate, it would take them hours to break through.
However, that wasn't what Vincent and Clara were worried about.
