Since the water impeded his movement, Adrian decided to take the fight elsewhere. Although he wasn't sure, he was willing to take the risk.
As the creature approached, Adrian took out the minotaur's sword and swung it around with all his might. He then proceeded to trigger [Minon Fury] to hasten the process.
The sword sliced through the water, creating a swirling vortex that protected him from the water's pressure while shielding him from the merman's attacks.
The merman shrieked as it realised something was amiss. However, it was too late to back down. The vortex sucked it inside like a black hole, with no hope of escaping.
The water churned and toiled around Adrian as the vortex intensified, its spiralling currents threatening to engulf everything in their path.
