Chapter 208 - On A Warpath (2)

The man raced down the dimly lit stairwell, his breath ragged as he glanced over his shoulder, expecting to see Adrian's shadow behind him. 

He couldn't shake the feeling that Adrian was hot on his heels, ready to strike at any moment, even though he knew Adrian was busy dealing with the others.

'I need to inform the Clan master about him. Adrian Fenrir is a monster we need to stop at all cost!' one of the white tigers thought, running down the corridors, hoping Adrian would be too preoccupied to notice him. 

The man wasn't wrong. There were at least fifty tigers Adrian had to deal with. As such, it was unlikely he would leave to chase after one man. However, there was one thing he didn't consider. 

What if Adrian wasn't alone?

'It would make more sense if he was alone as he couldn't have known we'd be here beforehand.'
