Following Adrian's win, the crowd went silent, trying to figure out what just happened. One moment, it seemed the outsider would die. But the tables had turned in the blink of an eye, and the mighty Bakira was whimpering on the floor.
They were surprised because Bakira wasn't someone to mess with, even with a weapon, let alone without one. The tribespeople knew that.
Bakira was a fierce creature with no bounds other than its master's words. A beast whose day began with wrestling with the chieftain and ended while hunting for prey. Yet it was defeated so quickly, and everyone found that strange.
But the winner didn't care about what the rest thought of him. Adrian was busy acting like he owned the place, i.e. the cage and stared A'Mila down, still grinning. Meanwhile, Bakira, pinned and helpless, let out another yelp, making A'Mila angrier.
"ENOUGH!" she yelled. "Open the cage!"
