"How about we cause chaos?" – said ClownFrog.
"Chaos? Wouldn't that be a bad idea? I MEAN LIKE EXTREMLY BAD ONE!" – said Shri.
"Nope. If you look at it, the chaos what we need. Hear me out."
"The 3 most powerful figures in the city rule it together, however now one of them is gone and people don't know why or if he is alive or not. What do you think would happened, if the rumors about him being killed by the either of these two would spread around the city?"
"And do you really think people would believe that?" – asked Shri.
"No. So that is why we try to make it look like the other one did it. We will make like the other one is planning something, literally making them think that the other one did that."
"In this city, the rumors travel extremely fast, so if we spread it here and there, everybody in the city will hear them."
"But obviously it won't be enough. There already a lot of different rumors and all in this place but they seem to die quickly. So we have to make sure those rumors won't die and make them even look real. We have to plant some evidence to make the rumors appear real to people to the point where they begin thinking they are real and if we throw some accident here and there, making the people think that one of them really did something, what do you think would happened afterwords?"
"…. Distrust. People would not the trust each other as well as chaos would spread out among the people." – said GreyHunt.
"Exactly! And when the distrust between the two and their people get quite high, we will use them. For example, make the fight broke out something where the people got injured to the point where the guards were organized and send to stop them. While the guards would be busy with dealing with that problem, nobody would expect the mayor mansion to be attacked during that time, giving the three of you would a chance to quickly force your way into the mansion and kill everybody inside and kidnap our target, the Elise Emerald." – said ClownFrog.
"Us 3? What about you?" – asked Oron.
"I will stay behind just in case the guards would came rushing to the mansions if by any chance they notice something was off or something. I can use my undeads to slow down the guards for some time, but obviously I can only summons undead from my undead record, so at least I can buy a minute or two." – said ClownFrog.
"Hm… You know, that does sound good, but what about the players? Won't they take any actions?" – asked GreyHunt.
"The players probably won't join in until an all out conflict happens where either of the two sides decided to take actions themselves. There is a good chance they would try and recruit the players to their faction."
"However, we need to do it before they do that."
"?"
"Why? Didn't you want chaos?" – asked Shri.
"I do, but not too big. If they make players work for them, then getting to either of our 2 remaining targets will be giant pain in the ass to the point where it could be even impossible to do it."
"We need chaos, but we can't have too much chaos. When the time is right, we will make our move." – said ClownFrog.
[Back to the present.]
"There you go!" – said GreyHunt.
The party put a gagged and tied up Ellise Emerald into the box before closing it with the girl inside.
"That was easier than expected. I wasn't expecting her to send out the half of the elites that were guarding the mansion. I guess we got lucky." – said Shri.
"Yeb. I honestly was doubting that crazy bastard plan was going to work out in the first place, but holy shit, it really did. I think he earned some respect from me." – said GreyHunt.
"I on the other hand am quite glad we are not his enemies. I'm kind of scared what would happened if we were ones." – said Oron.
"Y-yea. Honestly, I wasn't expecting him to be that diabolic." – said Shri.
"I heard that." - said ClownFrog.
ClownFrog approached the party that were hiding in the alleyway.
"Anyway, did the plan worked out?" – asked ClownFrog.
"Yea. We have her in here." – said GreyHunt.
"Good." – said ClownFrog.
"But aren't you here earlier than expected? Were you supposed to be dealing with guards?" – asked Shri.
"I run into some trouble. The guard capitan was bit stronger that I expected and they manage to get rid of my undeads quite quickly."
"Well, all that is matter that we did what we planned. Anyway, what about our two other targets?" – asked Oron.
"We are going for them today. The city is in the big mess right now. The guards are busy and now people don't know what happened to the mansion or the lady. The chaos spread completely as we hoped. Its perfect chance for us to make a move since we can take them completely by surprise." – said ClownFrog.
"If we are leaving behind the chaos, lets make as big as possible!"
[Meanwhile at the Golden Coin company building.]
"Shit! Now city guards are getting involved?! Why the heck they didn't get involved before when they killed my men?! Fuking useless bastards. After doing nothing, now they literally go after us?! Did that bastard paid them or something?" – said Marcel the Golden Merchant.
"Tch. Screw this. We are going with "That" idea. Get a hold of the adventures, now! I don't care how much you will pay them; we need them if we are going to fight!" – said Marcel to his men.
Suddenly a man burseted into the room where Marcel and his subordinates were having a discussion.
"Boss! There was accident!" – shouted the man after bursting into the room.
"What now?! Did we got attacked again?!"
"N-no! It's a mayor mansion! It was set on fire!"
"?!"
"What?! Why is the mansion on fire?! What the hell happened?!" – asked shocked Marcel.
"N-nobody knows! The people are trying to put down the fire as fast as possible right now!"
(Fire?! Why mansion was set on fire?! Was that his doing? But that wouldn't make any sense!)
"…Something is definitely going on there. Send some men to investigate. I don't like the situation one bit at all." – said Marcel.
Suddenly, a screams could be heard coming from downstairs.
"?!"
"What now?!"
"I-I don't know! I will go check!" – said the man that came into the room before.
The man quickly left the room and headed downstairs so see what was going on.
"Medic! Call the medic!" – shouted a man wearing cloak.
"Hey! What is going on here?!" – asked the man that just talked with the Marcel while walking down the stair.
"Sir! Apparently, the group of merchant working for us were attacked. All the adventures that were working for them as well as merchants were all killed! Only this adventurer manage to survive!" – said the man wearing an armor.
"Shit! Again?!" – said the man while coming towards the man wearing a cloak.
"Tell me! What the hell happened!"
"W-we were attacked out of nowhere as soon as we manage to left the city gate. It was an ambush! The guards saw everything but they did nothing to stop them!" – said the man in the cloak.
"What?!"
(So the guards and the Hjin are really working together?!)
"Who was your employer?! Tell me!"
"Y…"
"?"
"Speak louder, I can't hear you." – said the man while getting closer to the man.
"Your mom." – said the man wearing a cloak.
"?!"
Suddenly, a gun shot could be heard and moment later, the merchant lifeless body dropped onto the floor.
"?!"
"Hahaha. Man, I can't believe it worked again." – said the man wearing a cloak while getting up.
"?!"
"Security!" – shouted one of the merchants in the building.
The man in the cloak was GreyHunt with mask and as soon as his cover was blown, he began shooting left and right with his guns while some security tried stopping him.
While the GreyHunt was being confronted by the security, some of the merchants tried running away through the main door, but as soon as they tried, they ended being blown up.
"Don't worry! I will save you!" – said ClownFrog while entering through the main door and wearing a steel mask and a cloak.
"Oh, by the way, I didn't meant any of you. You all will die." – said ClownFrog to the merchants that tried to escape.
"[Create: Lesser Blood Dead]."
ClownFrog used the corpse of the dead merchants and the security to create an undead monster that instantly went on rampage and began killing the defenseless merchants, which in turn allowed ClownFrog to make even more undeads.
Some of the merchants tried running away using a different path, but as soon as they tried that, ClownFrog and GreyHunt opened fire at them, killing them on the spot.
"Sorry, but nobody is leaving alive." – said GreyHunt.
[Meanwhile at the other side of the city.]
"Sir, some of our men had some conflict with the guards, what should we do?" – said the man wearing an eyepatch.
"For crying out loud, I told them to avoid the guards for now. Did they got arrested?" – asked the Hjin Sun.
"No, they beat up the guards and left them."
"…Are they that stupid? They should have let themselves be arrested or something. Now they freaking causing problems for me." – said Hjin Sun.
Suddenly, the wall behind Hjin Sun got destroyed and a giant ant monster rushed straight at the Hjin Sun, however before ant could get to him, the man with the eyepatch that was in the room rushed straight between the ant monster and the Hjin Sun, trying to stop the ant monster with its sword.
The ant monster and the swordman ended up clashing with the man being pushed by the chagrining ant monster, however while trying to stop the monster, the man ended up colliding with the Hjin Sun, knocking him away and making him fall on the ground.
The man wearing an eyepatch manage to stop the giant ant monster charge.
"Sir! Are you alright!" – said the man wearing an eyepatch while stopping the ant monster form moving.
"I'm fine! Just get rid- "
"[Bind Whip]!"
Before Hjin Sun could finish speaking, a whip was launched straight at him and wrapped around his neck.
"Ugh?!"
"Sir!" – shouted the eyepatches man.
The eyepatch man gathered his strength and pushed away giant monster away from him and even making it lose its balance.
After pushing away the ant monster, the man quickly rushed towards his master, but as soon as he tried, a crossbow bolt flew straight at him. The man noticed the projectile flying straight at him and used his sword to counter the bolt before it hit him/
"!"
The man looked towards the direction where the bolt flew and saw a pair two people wearing a cloak and iron mask.
One of the assailant was aiming his crossbow at the eyepatch man while the other assailant was holding the whip that was wrapped around Hjin Sun.
"Who the heck are you?! Identify yourself at once!" – shouted the eyepatch man while pointing his sword at the assailants.
"There is no need for you to know." – said the one of the assailant with female voice.
"Try even anything funny or move and I will crush his neck."
"!"
Suddenly a group soldiers suddenly burseted into the room after hearing the commotion.
"Sir! What is going on?!" – asked one of the soldiers.
"?!"
"Sir Hjin!" – said one of the soldiers.
"Don't move! If any of you try anything, he dies on the spot!" – warned the female assailant.
Suddenly, the second assailant lowered his crossbow and extend his hand forward.
"[Danger Smoke]!"
The male assailant use some sort of skill and fired an orange smoke at the group of soldiers.
"?!"
"What is this?!" - said the eyepatch man.
"Sir! Where are you?!" – said the man while the smoke the man vision.
The man rushed forward, leaving the smoke, but as soon as he did left the smoke, he was greeted by the giant ant monster from before, attacking him from the side the moment he left the smoke.
"Tch! Get out of the way! [Heavy Sword]!"
The man swinged his sword at the giant ant, stopping the ant monster attempt of the attack while also damaging it badly.
But while the man was distracted with the ant, a crossbow bold flew at the man and hit him right in the neck.
'?!"
"Time to go." – said the male assailant.
"Yea."
The female assailant pulled Hjin Sun to her while the male assailant once again lowered his crossbow and extended his hand.
"[Poison Smoke]."
The man fired another smoke like attack, this time a green colored one and also not at the soldiers but instead near two assailants.
"?!"
The eyepatch man quickly pulled crossbow bolt that was stuck in his neck and quickly rushed through the green smoke in order to get to the enemy, but as soon as he did the two assailants were both running away with Hjin Sun.
"?!"
"Come back here!" – shouted the man while leaving the building through the destroyed wall.
However as soon as the man tried giving chase, the man suddenly stopped after suddenly feeling something off.
"?!"
(S-shit! Poison!)
(There is no time to waste!)
The man tried ignoring the poison and tried running after the assailants, but as soon as he tried, the 3 giant ant monster blocked his way.
"GET OUT OF MY WAY!"
The man tried getting rid off the ant monster that blocked his path as fast as possible and after giving his all, the man manage to get rid off all the ants monster and tried running after the assailants.
"…"
After fallowing the last path, the man saw that the assailants took, he found him self in the spot where multiple alleyways meet.
"Shit! Where the heck are they?!"
The man completely lost the sight of the assailants as well as the kidnapped Hjin Sun.
"…"
"Oh no." – said the man after realizing that the assailants managed to get away.
