As Vixen reeled from the sickening revelation of Sophia's complicity, those lush lips parting on a shocked exhalation as Lady Serena's smoky rasp crackled over the comm link.
"Did ya catch all that, bellezza?" Her rough Sicilian accent slurred the endearment. "We've had eyes on that serpente Sophia for weeks now, suspecting she was our Syndicate mole all along. But confirming the puttana's in bed - literally - with that lardo Moretti..." She trailed off with a dismissive grunt.
Vixen remained stonily silent. Her fingers toyed with the polished stilletto dagger sheathed up one embroidered sleeve as she pored over the incriminating photos of Sophia and Vito together.
