Dalvin was pleased by the outcome but did not spend too much time thinking about it. Whenever he simulated, time was stopped, so it gave him enough chance to act immediately upon what was in the simulation unless some unpredictable factor changed things.
As such, he immediately opened the portal and dashed through, closing it behind him. For the purposes of fidelity to the simulation, he glanced back at the spot where the family of three had been left to see that it was clear, as if no one was there.
Dalvin sniffed and smelled urine as well as trace remnants of their presence, but there was not a single smell of blood. His eyes narrowed as he thought of his death at the hands of the Vengeful Ghost in the simulation and surmised that the trio did not die, but were taken away by something.
