Vemon's massive twenty-meter-long body toppled forward, crashing heavily onto the ground, cloaked in ashes and dust. The resulting cloud engulfed the entire village in a storm of gray.
Yet, after a moment of shock and rage, the monster swiftly retaliated. Its claws flipped outward in a sudden, vicious move, swiping a powerful blow towards Idiot at the nape of its neck, almost reaching Idiot but not forever. Because it couldn't reach that point.
Idiot did not flee as if he knew that would happen. Had he forgotten how to run? His eyes were hollow, signifying nothingness, and even the expression one might call "indifference" had vanished from his face.
As Vemon's enormous claw struck out at him, the creature's skinny bone wings flapped wildly. This twenty-meter-tall monstrosity ascended with Idiot from the charred earth, scorched by flames, and thrust rapidly into the pitch-black sky, merging into the darkness of this world!
