Chapter 50: New Leader
Morga was at a loss for words. He didn't expect Grub to readily agree to chop off both his legs!
He looked left and right, noticing how the elders and other goblins stared at him. They exchanged glances. Morga interpreted this as a sense of doubt creeping within them, undermining his position amidst the group.
"If that's what you want, then so be it!" Morga pulled out the old rusty sword that sat at his hip. He pointed the tip at Grub's face, trying to scare him. However, Grub stared directly at the blade, unfazed.
Further angered, Morga simply raised the sword, ready to strike. But then, all of a sudden, a loud synchronous chant from the village almost shook the ground under them as a whole!
Everyone turned their gaze towards the village, which was not too far from them. Intrigued and puzzled, a few of the goblins ran towards the village to take a look at what was happening.
