Chapter 77: Entered The Human Kingdom
Jaur's throat tightened.
"What…?" he stammered, the question dying on his lips as his vision blurred. A single tear rolled down his cheek, catching the flickering lamplight before disappearing. With a soft thud, his head lolled to the side, lifeless.
"Sigh," Bozo simply sat back down on the bed while Grub picked up the worm and handed it to Bozo.
Wasting no time, Bozo simply swallowed the voice-changing worm, a rare parasite deep within the forest.
Up until now, thanks to the parasite, Bozo had been able to evade suspicion. After all, even if he did have the translator skill, he couldn't change his voice without the parasite's help.
"Um, Lord, what about the body?" Grub asked, noticing Bozo's lack of movement.
Usually, after claiming a kill, Bozo would store the body in his inventory, but he showed no interest in doing that at the moment.
