"You knew about this, Arsis!?" the king was utterly shocked at hearing that.
Garfield was no exception. He too couldn't believe his ears.
He stared right at Arsis as he further inquired, "For real Arsis? A Goblin killed the princess? The same princess that we know of? The one who was given an offer to be trained by the best of the best from the Imperial Academy!?"
Arsis didn't say anything further and simply nodded his head with a sigh.
The silence alone spoke volumes, confirming the messenger's claims.
"I can't believe this.... this... Does that mean a monster has been born!?" the king asked as he pulled a glass of water from the maid that always stood to his left.
He chugged in the water instantly and wiped his lips. He lowered his head, worried at the matter.
Garfield, on the other hand, was determined to take care of the matter.
