Apart from the oasis communities, there are also dozens of small oases scattered throughout the desert.
However, these small oases are not fixed in location; instead, they appear randomly.
But this randomness applies only to humans.
The animals living in the desert can accurately and clearly identify the locations and specific times of the oases' appearances. They follow the movements of these oases, relying on them for sustenance.
These moving oases have an underground river beneath them that gushes out a large amount of water, turning the oases into verdant paradises filled with greenery in a short amount of time.
However, these mobile oases do not last long, never more than a week. Afterward, the underground river submerges again, and with the winds and sands blowing over, the entire oasis returns to a barren land.
The animals within the oasis disperse and move toward the next emerging oasis.
