The night comes and everything is already prepared. I wear a thick and long cloak to hide my face, also Lyle. We walk towards to the back gate wherein Lyle already set up some guard that he knows. Lyle is walking with my luggage.
When we reached the gate, the guards opened it and the a carriage was waiting. I look at the door where the family crest is located and I saw a two swords making an 'X' and a black eagle with its wings spread. Their family crest symbols strength, protection and freedom that's why Zyair House is a House of a Knights that had been protecting the Empire since it's founding.
Lyle being the head of the house, which means that he is a Marquis, while being the personal knight of Madeleine. When he opened the door he offer his hand and guide me to the step of the carriage. When we are both inside the carriage starts moving. He is sitting in front of me and I remove the hood of my cloak.
I looked to the window to memorize the road because this is the first time that I will be gone too long and I'm sue that my dearest father will be in shocked to hear that his imprisoned daughter escaped and is on the way to her paternal house.
"Are you bothered, Your Highness?" I glance to Lyle and glanced back to the window "I'm not" I answered. I will be staying in Zyair Manor because going to the Southern part of the empire will take at least two days and it is still night, Lyle told me that going to the forest is dangerous at night.
We are on the way into his house and we choose the forest path because unlike to the main road royal guards were scattered and patrolling, if they saw the carriage who has the insignia of Zyair they will immediately think that Lyle is an accomplice of my escaped and I don't want my only loyal person to be caught, that's why I suggest to Lyle if there's a route where we won't be noticed.
And he said that the forest connected to his backyard is the best route however we must be alert because night is for robbers. We need to be careful and if we got into a trouble Lyle will immediately disposed them.
I heard the neighing of the horse and the sudden stopped of the carriage. I frown and Lyle immediately went beside me and wrapped his hands to my shoulders.
We were too close enough that I can even hear his heartbeats, even feel his breaths. I was snapped back to reality when I heard some footsteps nearing into the carriage door.
I can't believe that they were brave enough to abduct the carriage of a Marquis. Lyle who's carefully listening into the men's footstep took out his sword and stand up "You need not to worry, I'll handle it." He said and without looking back he went out and I was left watching him clashing his swords to the bandits who have their own swords.
I can't help but to look at him with so much amuzment and admiration, this is my first time seeing a real life knight and him fighting with his swords. His face were stiff but unlike to his usually stiff face, his jaw were trembling and his pupils too.
Every swung of his swords is like he is dancing and the sounds of the clash was his rythm. I can feel my heart were bearing fastly and my smile were formed into my lips, my eyes were twinkling into amusement as to see him clashing his swords and stabbing the man.
I was stopped when someone harshly grabbed my neck and point the tip of his sword to my neck. How dare them hurt a royal person! Are they really out of their mind?!
"You better stop or we will kill this woman!" He said and I really want to cough when I smelled his breath. Ugh! God! It stink!
Do they don't know how to brush their teeth! It smells like he eat a garbage!
My attention were caught when I felt something warm sliding through my neck and I fet a sting. "How dare you!" My eyes were widen when I heard on how loud Lyle's voice were.
It was like it echoed in entire forest. His eyes were throwing a very sharp death glare, his hands were gripping tightly into his swords and I can see that he is emitting a light blue lights all over his body.
Does he have a divine power? "If you attacked as we will slit her throat" the man spiked again and the lights that were emitting in his body gone. "If you handled as your money then we won't harm this beautiful lady"
I took a deep breath and closed my eyes. I need to think carefully. I am not in my own body so that I don't know the fighting capabilities of this body. If I take just a single.mistake step my life will end. I need to find a way to distract this man and get my dagger.
I have my dagger strapped on my thigh but to get it I need my cloak and dress to lift and get it to be able to do that, I need to distance myself enough. I open my eyes and I saw Lyle's confused look. 'Distract him' I muttered to him and he just nod at him.
Lyle throw something on the floor the man immediately pull down his sword and grabbed me as he walks towards to where it is. As he is grabbing me I lift my Cloak along with my dress and with my right hand and tried to find where it is, when I finally touched it I slide it and I turned to face the man and stabbed him at his chest.
He stumbled and hold his chest where I stabbed him. I took a step while he was steppibg back, and when he is cornered by a tree he pull his sword.
Again, I felt some chills running into my spines, my blood were flowing fast into my body, my mind went blank and all I see is the blood that the man we're spitting. My hands were trembling and cold however I can't help but to smile as too see how afraid he is.
I run and stabbed him again into his chest, I don't care if I got too much blood into my dress or my body, all I care is the adrenaline that I felt again.
When the man dropped, I sit down into his stomach and stabbed him continuously and laughing.
This is it! This is what I always feel whenever I saw them lying on the floor, bathed with their own blood. An never ending adrenaline rushing through my whole body.
I was interrupted when someone grabbed my wrist and I look to who it is and saw Lyle "That is enough, Your Highness..." He calmly said. His usually stiffed face helds a confused look. His gaze turn to the lifeless body of the man who just pointed his sword at me.
He have this questioning look at me on why did I do that? Or when did I learn to kill someone. I just need to come up into a victim excuse.
I held his hand and stand up, we walked towards to the horse that his men brought and he guided me to hopped on at the horse and after that he jumped as well.
"Clean the mess, make sure no one will ever knew about this." He instructed
"Yes sir!" They all response, a total of four men were here and start moving the bodies of the men who abducted us, Lyle before kicking the horse he holds me first and when he is sure that I am safe he start the horse.
The ride was fast and I can't even focus on the road because of the strong wind that were slapping into my face. As soon as we reach the gate, the two guards opened it and when we reached the main entrance of the house he jumped and carefully grabbed me into his arms.
"Welcome back, My Lord..." a man in his mid twenties greeted as "Welcome, Your Highness" he said I didn't have any chance to answer because Lyle already took a step and went inside while I'm his still in his arms.
"You can put me down now, Lyle" I said
"Prepare a hot bath" he instructed to the butler, and I don't know where we enter but I'm sure that we are at the bathroom. A very large one!
I can't help myself but to be in shocked, because how can a bathroom to be large as it is! Even in my Palace my bathroom were not large as like this, it only has a large bathtub exactly fit to my body but not like this. It isn't a bathroom it is like a inside pool.
It's like a jacuzzi, since it is steaming. He finally dropped me when the maids left a pair of a towels and a robe, they also left something that is in box, I can't see what it is since it is closed.
I froze when I felt his fingertips at the back of my neck went through my neck as he removes my cloak "Lyle, I-I can do it!" Stammering I said.
But he didn't stopped and when my cloak was finally dropped at the floor he untie the ribbon of my corset and start undressing me until I was fully naked!
I didn't know why I was just left standing and doing nothing. It is like my body is not responding to what I want to do. He then carried me again and carefully dropped me at the water.
I felt a refreshment as the warmth of the water touches my naked body, while Lyle is carefully combing my hair using his hands I felt calm and even closed my eyes.
I don't know what is happening and why is my own body not reacting to anything. I want to ran or hide myself because how can a man and a woman be in the same place while naked? I'm not sure if Lyle is naked but I am naked!
But instead of being embarrassed it seems that my body is familiar into this man's touch seeing on how my body reacts as nothing in his touches, it will be very awkward as I react surprised or embarrassed.
I need to know if Madeleine and Lyle already did something that hasn't been brought up even into the book because all I can remember is that not even a holding hands or a kiss ever happened in their timeline!
I was just closing my eyes and just feeling his touches, he soaped and scrub my body even give a massage into my whole body. I was just closing my eyes because I don't want to see his naked body.
I opened my eyes when I finally didn't feel his hands and I saw him walking towards to the towel, he wants naked he is in his clothes soaking. He grabbed the towel and a robe "Your Highness..." I was stunned when I heard his soft voice calling me.
What the hell is happening? Did I miss some information into book? But then I didn't know why in the earth is happening when my body suddenly start walking towards to him, I want to walk away but I can't my body won't move, let alone do what I want!
He patted me dry from my head to toe and carefully dressed me the robe. Then he carried me again and leave the room.
I didn't know where and how long it takes when he finally puts me down into a bed and he walks towards to a closet. What the hell is this? Why does Lyle acting like this? Is there something that I need to know?
Ugh! Does this two already did it? The physical contact of them is very familiar into this body and it wasn't giving a very dangerous one, it is more like a caring one. Like how a boyfriend's touch is. Of course I knew how it felt that's why I already know what kind of feeling is this.
Don't tell me that Madeleine has some feelings to this man?
