"Okay, you can place her over there and I'll get the equipment,'' responded Milret, rushing over to the counter to grab the first aid kit.
"Okay, thanks! I appreciate the help, Milret!" said Marian, as she then focused her gaze on the woman she held next to her and added, ''Hang in there, okay? I'll get you over there.''
In the meantime as Milret about was to collect her first aid kit. She had notice the flame on the bunsen burner flickering, while a sudden cold chill brushed against her face.
Immediately, she halted for a moment, then turned around, having a suspicion of the pregnant lady, but after that few second of that distrustful feeling. She disregarded, then carry on with her deeds.
Marian, on the other hand. Gently lay the woman's head on the pillow, while consoling her with reassuring words.
"AAAH! God!'' Cried the pregnant woman.
''It's okay, it's okay. You're gonna be fine; you are doing great!" said Marian.
The woman pant heavily with dripping sweats from her face, then after a few second of calm. She screamed again, while grabbing on to Marian's arm, causing a cracking effect to her bone.

After collecting what she needs, she rushed over with the first aid in her left hand.
"Alright, I'm here,'' said Marian, pulling out her lab chair, then put on her gloves to begin.
The woman at that same moment, release Marian arm after the pain resides for a short time once more.
"Gosh, it's a bit chilling here, don't you think?'' Marian Inquired to her friend, while she rubbed her risk of the slight pain of the woman's grip awhile ago.
Milret at that moment, suddenly paused her action, then looked at her best friend and
respond,''Yes...it is, but we can't dwell on that right now, Marian.''
"Oh, yeah, you're right. A pregnant woman needs our help,'' Reseda replied, as she went back in focus on aiding the woman
"Alright, mam. Is it... okay, if I ask you for your name?'' Marian inquired, as she hold the woman's left hand to comfort her.
The woman that was breathing heavily, giveth a sudden respond before the pain starts again,"Sillia—AAh!...Sillia Soviet.''
Milret hearing that last name. Had placed her in a sudden shock, realizing of who is the child's father.
Marain seeing a married ring on Sillia's finger, began to address her in a proper calling "Alright, Mrs. Soviet, I need to focus on what I say to you, okay?''
"Okay," answered Sillia, while breathing calmly for a moment once more.
"Good, so right now we need you push— ready? 1...2, wait a second,'' said Marian, noticing her friend.

[3 hours later]
Milri, holding the baby in her arm with a smile on her face, "Congratulation, Mrs. Soviet, it's a baby boy.''
The mother replied, ''Can I...can I see him, please?''
"Yes, of course,'' responded the Milret, as she handed the young baby boy into the mother's arms.
After receiving the child, the mother noted that the baby wailed only briefly after birth.
But she ignores her curiosity and expresses gratitude for her first child.
Meanwhile, the mother was happy. The father was not there to accompany her and her child.
Milret on the other hand, stared at Sillia, holding her child, while Marian being happy for her.
Within her thought to herself, she wonders if Sillia knows about her husband's dark secrete.
"My goodness me...how quiet unexpected. The apple never fall far from it's tree,'' said Milret having an internal monologue, while smiling.
*********
''Yup, that's me, a baby boy with a joyful mother. Well, for my father. Let's skip to the part where I became five years old.''
During the hours, the mother provides dinner for Keagen. While the father was busy gathering his gear to hunt down vampires, ''You know, I don't feel comfortable with this, Largen,'' said Sillia.
''I know, but the king gave me a solid offer, and I don't see the option of turning it down, Sillia. Just think about it for a bit? A ransom of $50,000 gold and a home to settle in comfortably once I killed those bloodthirsty beast. Don't you think that's a good deal for us?'' Largen explained.
''Actually, I don't care about the king's offer. All I know is that your son needs you, and I need you. There must be some other way than getting yourself killed?'' replied Sillia.
''[Sigh.] Sillia, I know you don't want me to hurt your kind and for me to meet a horrible end, which that's impossible, but...I don't think—'' said Largen, being concerned about her worries, but was suddenly abruptly interrupted by his wife before finishing his sentence.
''No, no buts, Largen. And also, I don't care if you harm those greedy evil vampires. But, bear in mind, not all are evil. Take me for example, who became what I am now with the help of you who constantly stood by my side,'' Sillia explained.
Largen smiled, then picked up his bag and replied, ''I know, and to be honest, I think I was lucky in winning your heart, but anyways. My group of hunters is waiting for me outside. I shall go before the evening comes.
Sillia looked at her son, enjoying the food she made, as Largen turned to his son and said, ''Keagen, my dare son, I'm sorry for not being there for you back then.''
Keagen stopped eating, looked up to his father, and responded, ''Well, it's okay; my mother always told me that you'd be back someday, even on my birthdays, so I kept that hope.''
''And here I am, as your wish came true. But right now, even after the three days I've been with you and your mother, I have to go again. I hope you understand?'' replied Largen.
Keagen hung his head down in disappointment.
Largen, seeing his son in dismay, walked towards him and rubbed his head. ''Don't you worry, my dare boy. Once I come back, I promise. I won't miss out on your birthdays anymore.
Keagen raised his head to his father, hopeful about what he had informed him. "Okay, father, that's a promise."
Largen smiled at his kid, hugged him tightly, and responded, ''Of course, my boy, I will keep that in mind. Also, could you please watch over your mother for me while I'm away?
"Yes, father, I will," Keagen said confidently.
*********
''Honestly, I was so happy that day when my father told me those hopeful promises. And, still, even as a teenager, I am still waiting on his return.''
