"It's finally open." Lin Long heaved a sigh of relief.
Mu Xuan retracted his hand, exhaustion tainting his usually indifferent face.
"Mu Xuan, are you alright?" Yao Si rushed over to support him.
"Mmh," Mu Xuan replied, pulling her into his embrace. He slouched down in exhaustion, leaning almost his entire weight onto her. With a deep exhale, he reassured her. "I'm fine."
Her heart clenched as she tightened her hands around him.
"Xiao Yu, lets go home!" Lin Long wasn't the least bit interested in their lovey-dovey actions. He hugged Lian Yu and headed toward the portal with excitement.
"What are you doing?" Before Lian Yu could react, she was already midway to the portal. Both surprised and embarrassed, she swatted his arm away while chiding, "I can walk, put me down."
