With a frown, Gao Ran glanced at his cellphone and found it was a text message instead of a WeChat message.
"Who are you?"
"Chief Gao, I'm Chen Yuning."
"Little Chen, what's up?"
Having been lectured by his wife, Gao Ran was still frustrated and wasn't in the mood to chit chat with his subordinate.
"Oh. I want to report to you some details about my work. Can you add me as your WeChat friend?"
"You report your work to your direct superior Section Chief Liu. He'll tell me in the meeting tomorrow."

"Oh, by the way, my relative brought me some local tea from my hometown. I heard you love tea, so I saved some for you. Please don't think I'm trying to cozy up to you. It's worth only a couple hundreds of yuan. Heihei… I just remembered you are a big fan of tea."
"Thank you."
