The infant whimpered.
He clenched his fists and waved them about.
Shen Manting couldn't help smiling.
"Feed him some milk."
Shen Luo'an suddenly mumbled from under the blanket.
Shen Manting heard him and walked out of the room quickly with the infant in her arms.
She closed the door on the way out.
Shen Luo'an buried his face in his blanket. He peeked out from under the sheets when he heard the door shut.
Sure enough, the room was already empty.
She was gone.
The room was unusually quiet.
Shen Luo'an couldn't fall asleep anymore.

Shen Manting fed the infant some milk and brought him to the garden for a stroll.
The morning sunlight was soft and warm. The infant winced and furrowed his brow when he was exposed to the sun.
He opened his bright, alluring eyes and looked around him.
"Manting, it's time for breakfast!"
Mother He shouted.
