It shrank in mid-air for a while and started to absorb Heaven and Earth Profound Qi again.

The Sky Phoenix Ring was of excellent grade and it had a natural gravitation towards Heaven and Earth Profound Qi. The Profound Qi formed a ball-like faint glow around the Sky Phoenix Ring, wrapping it in the middle.
As the tribulation cloud was unable to replenish its power, it started to grow dimmer and dimmer and the outer energy was starting to disperse in the void space.
Around a quarter of an hour later, the tribulation cloud started to split from the center into bits and pieces of floating cloud, slowly merging as one with the sky.
The gloomy dark clouds were gone.
