Lin Yehan closed his eyes and took deep breaths to calm himself. The thought of his girlfriend meeting and talking to her scumbag ex in person was enough to infuriate him.
"Ying Yue, I don't want to dictate your actions, but…I just can't find it in myself to agree to Long Hui's request to meet you," he said in a measured tone to keep his emotions as stable as possible while talking to his girlfriend.
"I know," Jiang Ying Yue replied. "But Long Hui says that he'll stop bothering me if I agree to meet and talk to him. He wants…closure, I guess. But, to be honest, I also want closure so that I can go forward with my relationship with you without any remaining emotional and mental baggage from my past failed relationship. So I'm also curious about what he wants to talk about with me."
