She felt a pair of strong arms tightening around her waist. She turned and looked at her darling's face who was holding her on his lap. They were sitting on the couch in their bedroom suite's living area. This time, she couldn't read his expression.
"The test came out negative today but that doesn't mean anything at this point," Wang Yingjie replied, looking at his third brother who was hiding his emotions behind an unreadable expression. Nevertheless, as one of his best friends, he could vaguely tell what his third brother was feeling. He sighed and continued speaking, "I already told the two of you that it's still too early. We'll do this test again after your missed period—if you miss it. Is that alright with you, Xiulan?"
