Peter only scoffed at his wife's words. He did not expect this side of Mia. He knows that she is vicious and narrow-minded, yet, this is the first time that he saw this side of her. A woman's worst trait is her insecurity and jealousy. He always knew that his wife was petty and easily gets jealous, but this is the first time that he was able to witness her flipping out because of a woman.
